Bear Hand Customs

Every logo has a story and the logo for Bear Hand Customs has a great one!

This project involved reconnecting with a high school classmate and getting to know his family’s new business. He and his brothers are a very talented group of makers specializing in wood and metalworking.

In the pre-design stage, I was given a photo of their grandmother’s symbol, a bear claw with a small “N” in the middle. It was placed on all the crafts she created. They wanted to pay homage to her by modifying the symbol to represent their business. With this knowledge, their logo was born. It is a modernized version of the original featuring an “M” for Michel (the brothers’ last name).

Thank you for the opportunity to bring your vision to life.
